Perlite Deslagging Agent

Deslagging agent (covering agent) is made by certain particle size perlite ore after special processing, to sprinkle in the fresh-baked steel (iron) water surface. Then the perlite volume is rapidly expanded of 4-30 times with slag-off, insulation work, etc. So we call it cleaner agent. It replaces straw ash or asbestos plaster as molten iron cover, cleaner insulation material in the foundry industry and opened new areas of perlite application.
